Careers

Mader Tschacher Peterson & Co., LLC is a great place to work and build a career.  We pride ourselves on having a family-friendly work environment and treating our employees the way we would like to be treated.  During out last two weeks of tax season, we provide lunch every day so our employee’s families can come in and eat with them.  We enjoy having employee get-togethers outside of work, as well.  We cater two parties during tax season so employees have some down time.  During the summer, we host a family picnic day.  We’ll take a Friday afternoon off and go to a local park or the bowling alley for some family fun.  At Christmas, we host an employee party, as well.

When a new staff accountant is hired, they are paired with one of the partners as a mentor.  This gives new staff the opportunity to meet with their mentor, ask questions, and be guided in their careers.  This relationship continues for as long as they are employees in our firm.

We also encourage our employees to belong to local civic or business organizations.  We want them to take part in their community and find ways to give back.  The firm pays for annual club memberships and lunch meeting costs.

We love technology and learning.  This presents itself in many ways – conferences, in-house training, CPA study materials for staff accountants, online classes for administrative employees, one-on-one training with employees.  Each employee has 2 to 4 computer monitors, which makes them highly efficient in their work.

Living in Laramie has many benefits, too.  This is a great place to raise a family, with several school settings to choose from.  We are only 30 minutes from the Snowy Range Mountains and Vedauwoo (Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest) is right up the hill.  The University of Wyoming also offers a host of athletic and cultural events.

Thanks for taking a look at our company – we look forward to hearing from you!
